You’ll be responsible for the identification and pursuit of funding opportunities, managing high-quality bid submissions, and collaborating across teams to help us meet ambitious revenue targets: £1.25m in FY 2025/26 and £5m by FY 2027/28.
Your profile
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new funding opportunities that align with ETF’s mission and strategic goals. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage the full bid lifecycle - from market research and stakeholder engagement to bid writing and submission. Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Development, you’ll work closely with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and ensure ETF remains competitive in a dynamic funding landscape.

- Demonstrated success in securing funding from diverse sources, including government, trusts, and international funders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder bids.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing persuasive proposals.
